Do you know any grand hotels in South Africa?
Liva asked:
Approval in the first place I visited some time ago, South Africa and loved. When I returned, my friends were wondering if I slept in a tent. When I have shown the pics I took of Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban. . etc, were upset because they thought the South Africa was a desert and the town looks much the cities of the United States, to know that they want to come to SA with me and see the country for himself. I want to know all that big a hotel sciccosi Cape Town, Durban or Jo 'burg, thanks!

There are lots of 5-star hotels in South Africa to choose from.
Cape Town has the Mount Nelson Hotel, the Commodore among others.
Johannesburg (African Pride Melrose Arch), Pretoria (Centurion Lake Hotel) & Durban (Royal Hotel) also have several to choose from:
You can sort each list by “Hotel Class” — that’ll put the highest rated hotels first in the list.
Hope that helps…good luck, and have fun!

Look for hotels and guesthouses in the outer suburbs from the the cities or towns. I would think guesthouses is a good option because it is more personal and your host will know all the good places to go to, as well as giving you advice on safety aspects. People that run guesthouses also would be able to refer you to other guesthouses if you are touring.
