Posh hotel near Margate, England?

Can anyone please suggest a really nice hotel in or near Margate? Cliftonville or anywhere like Broadstairs – something within a 35-40 minute drive to Margate is basically fine. I 'm looking to book a five star but if I don 't even know where to start observing! Any ideas greatly appreciated!

I would recommend Read’s Restaurant with rooms. It’s in Faversham, which is about half an hour from Margate and it gets the most fantastic reviews.
I’ve eaten there once and it was fabulous!
